James McNaught is a documentary and portrait photographer.
His work is led by self initiated projects, often requiring him to immerse within communities and cultures; resulting in viscerally emotive images created from the authentic bond between himself and his subject.
His understanding and use of light coupled with his innate ability to capture the moment gives his imagery a rich and compelling texture.

Clients and publications include: Vanity Fair, Canterbury Sports, Mr Porter, Victory Journal, Rapha, Hunter, The Telegraph magazine and The prince’s foundation among others. His work is held by the National Portrait Gallery.
